Naked news - doing a naked yoga class might be new for some but naked yoga classes can be found around the world for those wishing to take part in doing a nude yoga class.

Taking part and doing a naked yoga class ( nude yoga class ) is more popular than you may think with naked yoga available in 11 countries around the world and in 44 cities.

I came across naked yoga classes (Nude yoga) while researching nudity in France for an earlier episode of life in France when discussing the fact France has 117 nudist beaches.

In France, Paris is an epicenter for nudity in that you can do naked ten-pin bowling, enjoy a restaurant meal naked, a naked museum tour, naked swimming, enjoy a naked comedy show when not only the audience is naked but so is the comic and then onto naked yoga.

Some may ask why naked yoga? Well, it is said that naked yoga classes help those suffering from body dysmorphia in that it helps those individuals in accepting how they look at their own bodies because they are performing yoga naked.

Naked yoga classes can be performed in near dark conditions ( candlelight) to protect the yoga student's modesty while building confidence.

I have also read that there are codes of conduct during the naked yoga classes in that the instructors remain on their own yoga mats and everyone in the class strips off to perform the yoga naked.

With all the constraints of modern life, shedding your clothes and going nude is all about getting rid of the shackles of modern life, and with naked yoga, learning to love yourself as you are!

So I guess that's one form of naked yoga class and the second is for those who enjoy nudity to start off with and are part of the Naturism group of people who enjoy getting naked in public.

One thing I would like to mention is that there is nothing sexual about naturism, it's all about just getting closer to nature.

Some may be surprised that naked yoga has been around for centuries!

In the 4th Century BC when Alexander the Great invaded India it was found within his campaign notes that they came across Indian Yogins performing naked yoga positions as part of their meditation practices to find spiritual enlightenment.

Today in India yogins can still be found performing naked yoga as part of their meditation process.
